Hosting and server log files
The website is delivered via Cloudflare Pages, provided by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer). This data is needed to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which, under the European Commission's adequacy decision, ensures an adequate level of data protection for transfers to the USA.
Contact form
If you write to us using the contact form, we process your name, your email address, optionally your company, and your message in order to answer your enquiry. Our website passes these details to the email delivery service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which delivers them as an email to our mailbox. Resend processes the data on our behalf on servers in the EU (Ireland). We have concluded a data processing agreement with Resend. Insofar as access from the USA cannot be ruled out, transfers are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Resend is also certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If you contact us by email or through the contact form, we process your details to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. We use Google Workspace, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as a processor for our email communication. We delete the data once it is no longer needed to handle your enquiry, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
